Plans, allowances and limits

Common comparison scale: USD per 1 million standard Ethereum JSON-RPC requests, using eth_blockNumber as the reference method. Native credits/CUs are converted using the provider's published method weight. Bundle rates assume full allowance use; N/A means a defensible public conversion is unavailable.

CaveatUses 10 CU for eth_blockNumber and the current $0.525 per 1M CU first PAYG tier. Heavier methods cost more.

CaveatCurrent pricing page states Core/Developer/Team daily quotas of 3M/15M/75M credits and guaranteed throughput of 500/4K/40K credits/s. With eth_blockNumber at 80 credits: Developer allowance = 15M × 30 ÷ 80 = 5.625M requests/month; $50 ÷ 5.625 = $8.89 per 1M. This supersedes the prior 6M-credit/day and 12.5-RPS figures.

Caveateth_blockNumber costs 1 RU. Growth is $49/month for 20M requests, or $2.45 per 1M at full use; Growth overage is $15 per 1M RU. RPS is enforced separately.

CaveatDirect request-count plans. The current extracted pricing table explicitly exposes overage values, but its flattened text does not preserve every value-to-plan alignment; verify the rendered selector before quoting a specific tier.

Buyer readout

  • Prototype / low traffic: Start with the free tier whose supported chains and methods match the workload; compare the normalized reference-request allowance first, then test the actual method mix because heavier calls can change the ranking.
  • Growing production: Use the USD-per-1M reference-request column for initial screening, then replay a real request trace before buying; bundle rates assume full utilization and PAYG rates represent marginal cost.
  • High volume / enterprise: Model overage, throughput, SLA and support together. Public list price alone is insufficient; several vendors move high-volume buyers to negotiated plans or dedicated infrastructure.

Normalization limits

  • All comparable usage prices are normalized to USD per 1 million standard Ethereum JSON-RPC requests, using eth_blockNumber as the reference method. Native credits/CUs are converted with each vendor's published method weight; bundle rates assume full use of the included allowance. N/A is shown where a defensible public conversion is unavailable.
